Ashik Rahuman was named Player of the Match for his outstanding and disciplined bowling that kept the Köln Blasters in the game until the very end. Bowling with precision, he delivered 7 overs, including 1 maiden, and took 3 crucial wickets for 26 runs, maintaining an excellent economy of 3.71. His control and smart variations made it hard for Mülheim CC to settle.

The match, played on 28.09.2025 at Chorweiler, saw the Blasters post 114 runs in 35.5 overs before bowling out Mülheim CC for exactly 114 in 32 overs, ending in a thrilling tie.

Defending a low total, the Blasters’ bowlers showed incredible grit. Sagar D took 3 for 22, Ashik Rahuman claimed 3 for 26, and Binson T added 2 for 27, bowling out Mülheim for exactly 114 runs in 32 overs.

It was a tense, hard-fought game that highlighted the Blasters’ fighting spirit. Ashik Rahuman was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling under pressure.

The Koeln Blasters played a tough and exciting match against Köln City Falcons CC in the WDCV Regionalliga West 2025. Chasing 189 runs, the Blasters fought hard and scored 170 runs before getting all out in 46 overs. Shreyas P batted steadily with 35 runs, while Karamchand added 30 runs to keep the chase alive.

With the ball, the Blasters showed great effort. Ashik R took 3 wickets, while Shreyas P and Binson T took 2 wickets each, keeping the Falcons under pressure. Their teamwork and fighting spirit were clear throughout the match.

Even though the Blasters lost by 18 runs, they played with heart and gave the Falcons a real challenge. Their performance showed strong promise, and they are ready to rise to the next level in the Regionalliga.

The Koeln Blasters faced the Bonn Blue Stars on 31.08.2025 at the Bonn Cricket Ground in the WDCV Regionalliga West 2025. The Blasters won the toss and chose to bowl first, and their decision proved perfect as the bowlers dominated completely.

Ramachandra Sivakumar K was the star with an outstanding spell of 4 for 36 in 9 overs, while Binson T took 3 for 37 and Kaushik K added 2 for 32, bowling out the Blue Stars for just 138 in 33.2 overs.

The Bonn Blue Stars later forfeited the match due to a lack of bowlers, giving the Koeln Blasters another well-earned win. The day belonged to the Blasters’ bowlers, whose precision and teamwork secured a commanding performance.
