Flatland Finals at UNICON22

Overall this was such a cool experience🔥
Together with I announced for the two Junior Finals, which I really enjoyed. Thanks for the nice teamwork!

After that it was my turn to ride. This was my first flatland final at a unicon ever, and the whole setting was really sick.
I rode a nice battle against .seegers, and my riding during the battle went really well. Just when it came to last tricks not so much. After failing two attempts at a hard trick (540 side) I decided to go for something easier (540), but for some reason I couldn’t even land that. I was pretty sad about it, because this is not the way I would’ve wanted to go out.
But in the end I think it’s important to accept that something happened, try to learn from it, move on and not forget to see the amazing things that did happen! Thank you to everyone who said nice things to me and supported me

Jumps at UNICON22!
I’m really happy about getting some new pr’s! For longjump on platform I got 175cm, and for both highjump over bar and onto platform I got 70cm. I also liked riding in the finals :D
note: in the next few days I’ll try post some more unicon stuff, in chronological-ish order 👀

It was probably the biggest final I’ve ever competed in, and it was really amazing to ride in such an atmosphere. I’m really happy to have landed 5 out of the 10 lines. Thank you all for an amazing comp!

UNICON 22

Trial at UNICON22!
For me this was the first competition of the event, and I really enjoyed it. I’m exited to ride in the finals later today, and I hope I will be able to land some lines :D

UNICON 22

On may 9th I was at the Dutch championships for track! Even tho I don’t really train track anymore this event is always a fun day to see some friends and do some speedy(ish) riding :) Thanks to my friends for the nice day and until next time

Recht en onrecht zijn een persoonlijke opvatting, een momentopname. Met goede bedoelingen neem je een beslissing. En daarna volgen de consequenties. Dat zijn de ingrediënten van mijn theatervoorstelling “Zij zagen Oorlog”, die ik op 4 mei na de Dodenherdenking om 21:00 uur speel in de Zwolse Synagoge.

Het zijn ook de onderwerpen waar ik tijdens het bevrijdingsfestival over praat wanneer ik om 18:00 uur te gast ben op het wereldpaviljoen.

Vrijheid is fragiel, dat moeten we goed verzorgen.
