Nur wenige Tage nach Maks feiert der nächste Mann in der No 8 – Mattis Pluschkell wird heute 22!

Zwei Fahrer, ein Cockpit, Geburtstage in derselben Woche – besser lässt sich das nicht schreiben. Und Mattis ist einer der Schnellsten in unserem Aufgebot: Speed für die erste Reihe, wenn es zählt, eiskalt im Zweikampf und immer bereit, das letzte Zehntel aus dem LMP3 im Le Mans Cup zu holen.

P11 TO CLOSE A TOUGH WEEKEND AT THE NORISRING

Race 2 is done, and Marius Schmid & Alex Connor were flagged off in P11 with our BWT AMG GT4. Not the result we came for – but on this weekend, on this brutal street circuit, it was everything that was on the table today.

Team principal Stefan Mücke: "The guys gave it everything. Today there simply wasn't more in it. Now we regroup and look ahead – Oschersleben is up next, a track we know inside out and almost a home race for our Berlin-based team. We'll be ready to bounce back."

Now the focus shifts fully to the next challenge: Oschersleben in three weeks. We'll be back.

P11 ZUM ABSCHLUSS EINES ZÄHEN WOCHENENDES AM NORISRING

Rennen 2 ist beendet, Marius Schmid & Alex Connor wurden in unserem BWT AMG GT4 auf P11 abgewunken. Nicht das Ergebnis, für das wir gekommen sind – doch an diesem Wochenende, auf diesem harten Stadtkurs, war es heute das Maximum des Machbaren.

Teamchef Stefan Mücke: "Die Jungs haben alles gegeben. Heute war einfach nicht mehr drin. Jetzt sammeln wir uns und richten den Blick nach vorn – als Nächstes steht Oschersleben an, eine Strecke, die wir bestens kennen und quasi ein Heimspiel für unser in Berlin beheimatetes Team. Da wollen wir zurückschlagen."

Jetzt richtet sich der volle Fokus auf die nächste Aufgabe: Oschersleben in drei Wochen.

SO CLOSE – P4 AND A BITTER BLOW AT THE NÜRBURGRING
Mattis Pluschkelldrove a mighty race in the #8! Together with Tobias Bille Clausen he fought his way right to the edge of the podium – in the end, time simply ran out. P4 at the flag, so near to the top three, and a performance to be proud of.

The other side of the day hurt: Markus Pommer launched the #18 from pole position, but contact right after the start left the car with a bent steering and a damaged left front. Before the mandatory pit stop, the steering broke completely – the race ended in the pit lane. That also meant no track time at all for Mads Kjelde Larsen. Cruel luck.
The Nürburgring was once again a hard nut to crack for Mücke Motorsport. But we take the fight from the #8 with us – and reset our sights on the next round: Monza, the Temple of Speed, at the end of this month.

Meanwhile, the day isn't over! Our BWT AMG GT4 crew is back out at the Norisring this afternoon – Race 2 in the ADAC GT4 Germany.

SO KNAPP – P4 UND EIN BITTERER RÜCKSCHLAG AM NÜRBURGRING

Mattis Pluschkell fuhr ein starkes Rennen in der #8! Gemeinsam mit Tobias Bille Clausen kämpfte er sich bis an den Rand des Podiums – am Ende fehlte schlicht die Zeit. P4 bei der Zielflagge, hauchdünn an den Top 3 vorbei, und eine Leistung, auf die man stolz sein darf.

Die andere Seite des Tages tat weh: Markus Pommer startete die #18 von der Pole Position, doch eine Berührung direkt nach dem Start hinterließ ein nach links verzogenes Lenkrad und einen Schaden am linken Vorderrad. Noch vor dem Pflichtboxenstopp brach die Lenkung komplett – das Rennen endete in der Boxengasse. Damit blieb Mads Kjelde Larsen ganz ohne Tracktime. Bitteres Pech.

Der Nürburgring war einmal mehr ein hartes Pflaster für Mücke Motorsport. Doch den Kampfgeist aus der #8 nehmen wir mit – und richten den Blick auf den nächsten Lauf: Monza, den Tempel der Geschwindigkeit, Ende des Monats.

Und der Tag ist noch nicht vorbei! Unsere BWT AMG GT4 Crew ist heute Nachmittag am Norisring zurück im Einsatz – Rennen 2 der ADAC GT4 Germany.

BEST ROOKIE AGAIN – WELL DONE, MARIUS!

Race 1 at the Norisring is done, and our BWT AMG GT4 with Alex Connor and Marius Schmid at the wheel, crossed the line in P10. Not the result we were chasing on Germany's toughest street circuit – but one bright spot stands out: Marius Schmid was once again the best rookie of the field!

A tricky race on a track that punishes every mistake. Now we regroup, learn from today, and come back stronger for Race 2 tomorrow.

But first – no rest today: Race 2 is already up tomorrow afternoon!

Rennen 1 am Norisring ist beendet, unser BWT AMG GT4 kommt Mit Alex und Marius auf P10 ins Ziel. Nicht das Ergebnis, das wir uns auf Deutschlands härtestem Stadtkurs erhofft hatten – doch ein Lichtblick sticht heraus: Marius Schmid war erneut bester Rookie im Feld!

Ein zäher Kampf auf einer Strecke, die jeden Fehler bestraft. Jetzt heißt es analysieren, aus dem heutigen Tag lernen und morgen für Rennen 2 stärker zurückkommen.

What a race for BWT Mücke Motorsport! Tobias Bille Clausen and Mattis Pluschkell brought the #8 home on the podium in P3 – a strong result on home soil!
And the #18 never stopped fighting: after taking over from Mads Kjelde Larsen -Markus Pommer put his head down and finished on P5.

No time to catch our breath, though – Race 2 is already up tomorrow morning - and Markus will start from Poleposition ...

The practice sessions here at the Norisring are behind us, and & Alex Connor are as ready as they’ll ever be. Early tomorrow morning it’s straight down to business: two qualifying sessions in our BWT AMG GT4 #8 to set the grids – before the first race of the weekend kicks off in the afternoon.
Germany’s only street circuit, concrete walls left and right, no margin for error. Time to attack!

QUALIFYING DAY DONE – NOW IT COUNTS!

Friday is behind us, and from tomorrow the Nürburgring gets serious. Two qualifying sessions have set our grids for the weekend – and both looked strong!

For Race 1 (from Q1): Mattis Pluschkell put the #8 on the front row in P2, with Mads Kjelde Larsen lining up the #18 in P4. A perfect base to attack from tomorrow morning!

And a taste of Sunday (from Q2): Markus Pommer grabbed POLE POSITION in the #18 – P1! – while Tobias Bille Clausen brought the #8 home in P4.
Two grids, two chances. Now it all comes down to racing. Fingers crossed for Race 1!

QUALIFYING-TAG GESCHAFFT – JETZT ZÄHLT’S!

Der Freitag liegt hinter uns, ab morgen wird es am Nürburgring ernst. Zwei Qualifyings haben unsere Startaufstellungen fürs Wochenende gesetzt – und beide sahen stark aus!

Für Rennen 1 (aus Q1): Mattis Pluschkell brachte die #8 in die erste Reihe auf P2, Mads Kjelde Larsen stellte die 18 auf P4. Eine perfekte Basis für den Angriff morgen früh!

Und ein Vorgeschmack auf Sonntag (aus Q2): Markus Pommer holte sich die POLE POSITION in der 18 – P1! –, während TBC die 8 auf P4 brachte.

DOUBLE HEADER – ONE TEAM, TWO TRACKS!
This week, Mücke Motorsport splits up – and takes on TWO race weekends at the same time!

One half heads to the legendary Norisring, sending our AMG GT4 into battle on Germany's only street circuit as part of the DTM weekend. Last time out Alex Connor & Marius Schmid raced at the Red Bull Ring – now it's all about Nuremberg's concrete canyons.

The other half is at the Nürburgring for Round 2 of the Prototype Cup Europe – with BOTH of our LMP3s, the #8 with Tobias Bille Clausen & Mattis Pluschkell + the #18 with Markus Pommer & Mads Kjelde Larsen behind the wheel. After a strong season opener at Mugello, our prototype crew is back on track and hungry for more.

DOUBLE HEADER – EIN TEAM, ZWEI STRECKEN!
Diese Woche teilt sich Mücke Motorsport auf – und geht gleich bei ZWEI Rennwochenenden an den Start!

Eine Hälfte reist zum legendären Norisring und schickt unseren AMG GT4 auf Deutschlands einzigen Stadtkurs im Rahmen des DTM-Wochenendes. Zuletzt waren Alex Connor & Marius Schmid am Red Bull Ring im Einsatz – jetzt heißt es Angriff in den Betonschluchten von Nürnberg.

Die andere Hälfte gastiert am Nürburgring zum 2. Lauf des Prototype Cup Europe – mit BEIDEN LMP3, der #8 (Tobias Bille Clausen & Mattis Pluschkell) und der #18 (Markus Pommer & Mads Kjelde Larsen). Nach einem starken Saisonauftakt in Mugello ist unsere Prototypen-Crew zurück auf der Strecke und wird nachlegen.
