Nabhi Puran: More Than Just Navel Oiling

In Ayurveda, Nabhi Puran is a traditional self-care practice that focuses on nourishing the navel region to support overall well-being. It is commonly used to help with digestion, bloating, relaxation, and better sleep quality.
Which oils can be used?
1. Ghee – helps cool excess body heat and supports digestive comfort
2. Castor Oil – traditionally used for constipation, menstrual discomfort, and dryness
3.  Sesame Oil – deeply nourishing and known for balancing Vata
Other options include Kshirbala Oil, Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, and Sesame Oil, depending on your body’s needs.

 How to Practice Nabhi Puran?
• Apply a generous amount of oil in and around the navel area on an empty stomach before sleeping.
• Gently massage in circular motions for 2–3 minutes.
• Follow consistently for at least 21 days for best results.

Avoid this practice if you:
• Are pregnant
• Have a navel infection, discharge, or recent abdominal surgery
• Are experiencing severe diarrhea or loose motions

A few minutes of mindful self-care can go a long way toward supporting balance from within. ✨
