AC Berlin Women Cricket

Sunday was spent playing the sport that we love. We had another 2 matches of the ongoing Big Freeze in our hall. And we're looking forward to the upcoming matches as well, to play more competitive cricket 💪

Definitely late to the party but better late than never, right 🙈🙈.

Appreciation post for this amazing bunch of ladies and our team management for all the amazing efforts and powerful performances to help us top our group in the Bundesliga 2023 season.

We progressed to the knockout stages, which was played in Nuremberg with the first clash against the to secure a place in the semi finals. And what a match it was! Great efforts from both sides with ACB emerging as the victors - beating the Bayern champions by a whopping 10 wickets! 💪💪

We ended up facing the strong competitors .cricket in the semi-finals. It was a very tough battle between both the sides but alas, we fell short of the target we were chasing and could not make it into the finals. Kudos to BWCV for the competition, the match was a lot of fun ✌️.

It was an amazing season of cricket with a lot of positives and amazing performances from our side. And we took away a lot of learnings as well throughout the season, which we will be working on to come back even stronger in the next season, with our eyes on the big prize 🏆. Watch out for ACB, keep rocking team! 😎💪

We took part in the recently concluded T10 Tournament which was played at Berlin Maifeld yesterday. There were a total of 3 teams and ACB beat BCA and ICAB in two thrilling contests to make way to the finals where we faced off against BCA. It was unfortunate to not end up on the winning side in the final but there was good cricket all around and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole tournament ✌️

ACB played qualifier against , it was a nice day of cricket with severe heat wave in Nürnberg.

ACB has played their 5th game of FrauenBundesliga 2023 against ICAB1 from Berlin.
ACB batted first giving a huge total of 160 to ICAB1 and while bowling , ACB was super economic and restricted ICAB1 on 109 winning the game by 51 runs .

What a game of cricket has played with .
Second for ACB Women to play in this Bundesliga and winning the game with quite a margin.
ACB going strong in this Bundesliga, aiming for many more wins down the road .
