🇬🇧 “Irregular 3” geometry for ArborSonic 3D is out!
The “Irregular 3” scheme allows the measurement of larger diameter trees than the maximal distance of the Digital Caliper by measuring 3 neighbors for every sensor.
As an example, with a 12-channel ArborSonic acoustic tomograph and a 2 m caliper, you can measure a tree up to 2.74 m in diameter. The more channels you have, the wider tree you can measure.

Az „Irreguláris 3” séma lehetővé teszi a digitális átlaló maximális mérési távolságánál nagyobb átmérőjű fák méreteinek felvételét úgy, hogy minden érzékelőhöz 3 szomszédot mér.
Például egy 12 érzékelős ArborSonic akusztikus tomográffal és egy 2 m-es átlalóval akár 2,74 m átmérőjű fa geometriája is felvehető. Minél több érzékelőnk van, annál nagyobb átmérőt tud kezelni.
