At the World Championships in Aachen, he competed for Argentina alongside his son Matias – proof that a love of horses is truly a family affair for the Laroccas. 🐴 And another real member of the family is his equine partner, Finn Lente, who has been by Jose’s side for more than eight years.

The new World Championship stables, equipped by , are also something special for Jose. For many years, he and his horses stayed in the outdoor boxes, which have now made way for the modern stable building. They hold many personal memories for him – making it a bittersweet goodbye. 🤝

Bei den Weltmeisterschaften in Aachen ging er gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn Matias für Argentinien an den Start – die Pferdeliebe ist bei Familie Larocca echte Familiensache. 🐴 Ebenfalls ein echtes Familienmitglied: Sein Sportpartner Finn Lente, der seit über acht Jahren an seiner Seite ist.

Auch der neue, von Röwer & Rüb ausgestattete WM-Stall ist für Jose etwas Besonderes. Jahrelang stand er mit seinen Pferden in den Außenboxen, die nun dem modernen Stallgebäude gewichen sind. Damit verbindet er viele persönliche Erinnerungen – ein Abschied mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge. 🤝

Vor allem die deutsche Mannschaft schrieb bei den Heim-Weltmeisterschaften ihr eigenes Sommermärchen: Mit sieben Gold-, fünf Silber- und acht Bronzemedaillen setzte sich das Team unangefochten an die Spitze des Medaillenspiegels. 🥇🥈🥉

The FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 have come to an end – adding numerous extraordinary chapters to the story of equestrian sport. Thirteen days, six disciplines and countless unforgettable moments that will stay with us. 🐴

Above all, the German team wrote its very own summer fairy tale at these home World Championships: With seven gold, five silver and eight bronze medals, the team topped the medal table by a clear margin. 🥇🥈🥉
