The Blind Floor Aerobic workshop was led by Pavla Valníčková Kovaříková – a Paralympic medalist, educator, author, founder of the organization Rozhledna, and a long-time advocate for people with visual impairments.
Blind Floor Aerobic is an innovative movement programme designed specifically for people with visual impairments, promoting independent participation, physical fitness, and enjoyment of movement.

The symposium “Czech Paralympic Development: Reflections, Projects, and Best Practices” highlighted current initiatives, experiences, and successful approaches in Czech para sport.
Chaired by Martin Kudláček, the session brought together leading experts from different areas of the Paralympic movement: Roman Suda from the Czech Paralympic Committee, Vít Šašek from Para Swimming Prague, and Jakub Novotný, coach of the Czech Para Ice Hockey Team.
The discussion provided valuable insights into athlete development, organizational support, and best practices that contribute to the growth of inclusive and high-performance sport.

🌅 The Closing Dinner at Podolka Restaurant, located on the banks of the Vltava River, was a wonderful way to conclude another inspiring day of EUCAPA 2026.
Following the afternoon workshop on adapted water sports, participants enjoyed great food, beautiful views, and an enjoyable social programme in a relaxed atmosphere.
A perfect opportunity to celebrate new connections, shared experiences, and the spirit of the congress.

Alongside the scientific programme, participants also had the opportunity to enjoy a friendly boccia tournament organized by APA students.
The event was not about competition, but about connection, fun, and experiencing an inclusive sport together. It offered a great opportunity to meet new colleagues, share experiences, and enjoy the social side of the conference.
A big thank you to our APA students for creating such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere!

The Feldenkrais Method workshop at EUCAPA 2026 introduced participants to a unique approach to motor learning through Awareness Through Movement.
Based on developmental movement patterns and lifelong learning, the Feldenkrais Method offers valuable possibilities for supporting children and adults with disabilities, while also promoting wellbeing and self-care among caregivers and professionals.
A big thank you to Feldenkrais practitioner and APA specialist Eliška Úblová - Eliška - Feldenkrais / lekce pro děti a dospělé for sharing her expertise and inspiring participants to explore movement, learning, and wellbeing from a new perspective.
