Dear Wheelchair Rugby Referees,

We’re pleased to invite applications for the WWR Referee Candidate Clinic taking place during Rugbymania 2026. As you know, there’s no wheelchair rugby without referees—and this clinic is designed to help you develop your skills and prepare for International Level appointments. 🌍🏆

👨‍🏫 Lecturer: WWR Referee Stan Battock

🎯 Level: Preparation for International Level

📅 Dates: Thursday–Saturday, 12–14 November 2026

📍 Location: Rugbymania 2026, Prague, Czech Republic

💶 Participation Fee
(For referees not attached to participating teams)

🏨 €600 – includes 4 nights' accommodation in a shared double room and all meals.

✈️ €20 – Airport ↔ Hotel transfer.

🗓️ Preliminary Programme

🕘 09:00–11:30 – Opening & Theory Session

🍽️ 12:00–13:00 – Lunch at the venue

🏟️ 13:00–20:30 – On-court refereeing, observation & debrief

Friday–Saturday, 13–14 November 2026

👤 Full name, national federation/association, and current qualification level

📝 Brief summary of your refereeing experience (including any international events)

✅ Whether you are attending Rugbymania 2026 with a team or as an independent candidate

⚡ Places are strictly limited to only three candidates. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and confirmations will be sent shortly after the application deadline.

Don't have a team?

Are you an individual wheelchair rugby player without a team? We'd love to hear from you as well!

If enough individual players register, we'll create an eighth international mixed team made up of players from different countries. You'll only pay your own tournament entry fee, and the organisers will provide team jerseys and referees. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new teammates, make new friends, and experience Rugbymania from the inside.

Dear Rugbymania friends,

we are pleased to send you the official invitation for RUGBYMANIA, November 12 – 14 2026.

As in previous years, the registration system follows a “first come, first served” principle. Teams that register earlier will have their place in the tournament confirmed.

This year there will be International Classification Panel held.
The deadline for the first round of registrations is April 30, 2026.
