A Wanderer made for a NASA employee.

Every Wanderer is different, but some are definitely more different than others.

The build itself is pretty much a standard Wanderer, but the materials and colors are anything but standard. EPLX600 Marigold and Ultra400X White on the outside, inspired by the colors of the SLS rocket.

Inside, 2.92 oz DCF Orange and EPX200 Ocean Blue, inspired by the colors of the Artemis II spacesuits.

Finished with officially issued NASA patches and woven Dyneema cord zipper pulls.

Mission control, we have a backpack. 🚀

Summit Seeker / Hiker alpine hybrid. This one was fun to make.

Ultra400X Hunter Green + Ultra200X Black body, Ultragrid Tangerine interior.

Two external zippered pockets, fastpack-style straps with pockets, dual compression straps, ice axe carry and rope strap.

Spacer mesh back panel, removable foam and HDPE frame sheet.

A bit of Summit Seeker, a bit of Hiker, and a lot of alpine functionality.

Another two, heavily customized Extended Wanderers that turned out just great.

1. Ultra400 Midnight Blue, Ultra400TX, Ultra800TX, Ultra80TX.
2. Ultra400TX, Ultra200X Silverado, Ultra800TX, RX30 Ocean Blue and Slate, lots of Ultrastretch.

Hands down the most popular Wanderer combination right now.

Ultra200TX Black, Ultra80TX, and Venom Gridstop Soft Purple.

Easy to see why. It’s fun without being too loud.

Not your average Wanderer.

It’s nice to mix things up every now and then. This one features a vertical front pocket with simple org and a tablet sleeve instead of the usual zippered pocket on the laptop sleeve.

Turned out even better than I thought.

Really like the 200X Raspberry and Ultragrid Lime combo.

Not only am I behind on making all the backpacks, I’m also behind on posting them.

So here are a couple more Wanderers I finished recently.

The first one is my favorite. Ultra400X Hunter Green, 5.9 oz DCF (supplied by the customer and much nicer than 5.0 oz), UltraCore, and RX30 Cayenne.

Oh, and did I mention the bottom is made from Dyneema leather? How epic is that?
