Pockets don't forgive weak fingers. 🤌

Vitali locking into Schlossbergwand's classic pocket lines, Frankenjura — where every hold demands precision and every pull tells you exactly how much work you've put in. This is the kind of climbing that built the sport's reputation: technical, powerful, no shortcuts.

Pure Frankenjura style. 🧗‍♂️

Frankenjura's limestone doesn't care about your comfort zone. 🧗‍♀️

Watch Sandra take her first steps into lead climbing on some of Europe's most iconic sport routes — from the first shaky clip to the moment it clicks. This is what growth looks like: chalky hands, focused breathing, and pure grit against pocketed limestone in the birthplace of sport climbing.

Frankenjura isn't just a crag — it's a rite of passage. And Sandra's just getting started.

DEEP BLUE: Deep Water Solo, Mallorca

No rope. No harness. Just rock, sea, and gravity.
We're heading back to Mallorca for 2 weeks, end of September into early October — warm water, mild air, and low sun drying the caves to perfection. The best window of the year, hands down.

Spots are limited. Comment or DM to join.

🧗 Sending it in Labské Údolí ⛰️

Jany, our Head Coach & CEO, cruising a mellow sport line with minimal run-outs — exactly the kind of climbing that makes Bohemian sandstone so addictive. Week one of the Rock & Road: European Sport Climbing Trip 2026 is off to a great start!

Still spots left for the rest of the trip — link in bio / website for full itinerary and booking. Come climb with us.

Week 1 of the European Sport Climbing Tour 2026 in the books — Rockbusters vs. Labské pískovce, sandstone edition. Spaced bolts, chalked-up hands, and skin sacrificed for the cause.

We've got more weeks, more crags, more questionable decisions ahead. Come climb with us — link here or in BIO to join the rest of the tour.

OuuuYeee, 6 day brothers and sisters, time to quit the beer and build the campus 🤟🤟

You arrive on Sunday. You don't know the routes. You don't know the people. By Friday, both of those things have changed.

Mornings start early. Coffee, then the walk to the crag before the sun hits the wall. Klemen reads the route with you — where the rest is, where the crux unlocks, which foot goes where. You warm up on something easy. You watch others climb. You start to see things you didn't see before.

By mid-morning, you're on something hard. Jany is at the base. You're three bolts up, pumped, talking yourself into coming down. He says, "If you can talk, you can climb." You climb.

Midday is shade and food, and the slow conversation about the moves that worked and the ones that didn't. Nobody is in a hurry.

Afternoon, back on the wall. The move you couldn't do in the morning — you try it again. You fall. You try it again. Sometimes it goes. Sometimes it doesn't, and you tie in tomorrow.

Evenings in the village. Tired in a good way. Beer. Dinner. Bed early because tomorrow is the same again.

By Friday, you've done moves you didn't think were yours. You've taken falls you were afraid of. Nothing dramatic. Just a small shift in what you think you can do.

That's a week in Rodellar.

Next camps: The Dolomite Dolce Vita in Italy, Jul 25. KNOTS & STONE on Czech sandstone, Aug 1. DEEP BLUE Psicobloc in Mallorca, Aug 17.

You clip a bolt, and the whole range opens up behind you.

Pink limestone towers, three thousand metres tall. Walls that turn grey to gold to pink as the sun moves across them. You walk to the crag past cows and church bells and a guy sweeping the steps of a four-hundred-year-old chapel.

The climbing is good. Sport routes, multi-pitches, the kind of limestone that asks you to trust small feet and read corners. Real alpine movement. Real exposure.

But the climbing almost becomes secondary. Almost.

Because when you top out a pitch and look around, the Cinque Torri are right there. The Tofane behind them. Light hitting rock that doesn't look like rock.

Then you walk back down to the village. Espresso at the bar. Pasta at the rifugio. Someone's grandmother making tagliatelle while you sort gear on the floor.

This is the place that makes you stop counting grades.

You leave climbing the same number you climbed before. But something shifts. The scale of the place gets into you. You start thinking about climbing as a thing you do inside a landscape, not a number you chase.

That's the Dolomites. That's why people come back.

I hated the way climbing was being taught.

Indoor sessions. Stopwatches. Coaches wearing matching polo shirts. People paying good money just to feel managed, packaged, and sterile. Nothing about it felt like climbing to me.

To me, climbing was sleeping in a battered van. It was squeezing five people around one stove to cook cheap pasta. It was falling off the same project for a week straight, then laughing your ass off about it over beers at dinner. The coaching and the lifestyle weren't separate things. They were the same damn thing.

So, I started taking people on trips. They weren’t "clients." They were climbers. We’d drive across Europe hunting for the best rock, and I’d coach them right there on the crag. That was Rockbusters before it even had a name.

Rodellar became home pretty fast.
It’s a tiny village perched above a massive gorge. Just ridiculous overhanging limestone, a river at the bottom, and absolutely nowhere to escape. You wake up, you see the wall. You eat, you see the wall. You can’t pretend you came here for anything else.
And that is the whole point.

Let’s be clear: I am not a soft coach.

I’ll strip away your beta if it’s making you lazy. I’ll force you to take whips before you think you're ready. And the second you start explaining why you can't send, I’ll tell you to shut up and climb. It’s not cruelty; it’s respect. I know you can do more than you think you can, and my job is to dig it out of you.

Over the years, the crew grew. Laszlo, Patxi, Klemen, Petra, Arturo—they all joined because they felt the exact same way.

Real climbers. Teaching real climbing. In real places.
That’s all Rockbusters is. A community to climb hard, live raw, and surround yourself with good people in the places that actually matter.

Still no polo shirts.
– Jany
