Three things happened recently that made me smile.
None involved lifting a heavier weight.
None involved burning more calories.
And none happened in a gym.
The first was a hill.
When I first started working with one client, walking their dogs up a local hill left their back really aching.
Recently, they did the same walk.
All the way up.
All the way back down.
No problems.
It even started raining on the way — but that's another problem entirely! 😂
The second was a Pilates mat.
Another client wanted to stop having to do chair Pilates and have the confidence to get down onto the floor — and back up again.
Recently, they tried it at home.
Their words?
“It was actually really easy.”
At their next Pilates class they got down onto the floor.
Their instructor's reaction?
“Wow. That's amazing.”
And then there's the walking stick.
Another client used to rely on one.
We worked on movement, balance, strength and confidence.
Little by little, the stick was needed less.
And less.
Now they've been living without it for weeks.
Three people.
Three completely different goals.
But none of these changes came from one amazing workout.
They came from small wins adding up.
A movement gets easier.
Confidence grows.
The body gets stronger.
And eventually you notice the difference where it really matters:
Everyday life.
That's what MOVE • RESTORE • PROGRESS means to me.
Because ultimately, exercise isn't about being good at exercise.
It's about being able to do more of the things that matter to you.
What would you like to be able to do more easily?
