📣We are proud that Frederick University is among the first universities in Cyprus to be awarded the Athena SWAN Bronze Award, and to see our work highlighted by Advance HE as part of the first Athena SWAN Bronze awards in the country.

This international recognition reflects our long-standing commitment to fostering an inclusive, equitable and supportive academic environment for our students, faculty and staff. It is especially rewarding that the evaluation acknowledged the University's good practices, including our strong institutional commitment to gender equality, the work of our Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion (EnAF), our Women in STEM initiative, which encourages women to pursue careers in Engineering and Technology; and our comprehensive approach to preventing and addressing gender-based violence. This includes our award-winning "Red Card" campaign, which Advance HE recently invited us to present as an example of good practice to other universities.

This achievement belongs to our entire University community. It reinforces our determination to continue building a culture where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive and where excellence is strengthened through diversity, inclusion and respect.👏👏👏
