Welcome to GO WEST Diving Curacao!! A full service dive facility. Do not forget to visit our Neptune statue 10 meters down!!

GO WEST Diving Curacao is a PADI Dive Resort, located at one of Curaçao’s best dive sites, Alice in Wonderland, right on the idyllic sandy beach of Playa Kalki in Westpunt. The dive center offers the full range of PADI courses (up to Divemaster), quality equipment rental and an air filling station. Most of Curaçao’s are only few minutes away from GO WEST Diving by boat or car. The average temperature of our clear Caribbean water is 28°C (82 F) year around, the average visibility is over 30 meters (100 feet). The GO WEST Diving house reef offers a rich combination of hard coral formations, sponges, tropical fish and a wide selection of colorful marine life. Turtles, rays, lobster, and morays are just some of the local inhabitants you’ll likely encounter. The GO WEST Diving crew can supply you with detailed information about all of our unique dive sites. Since the beginning of 1997 Neptune has been keeping a watchful eye on all GO WEST Diving divers in the bay directly in front of our All West Apartments...

We offer daily trips to sites which are hard to get to or impossible to reach from shore. Curaçao's most well-known dive site, Mushroom Forest, is on our schedule at least twice per week. The most northern dive site, Watamula, is only 5 minutes away by boat and offers spectacular healthy formations of hard corals, a soft coral-garden and a large variety of marine life. Our boats are completely equipped for diving (radio, oxygen, fist aid, tank racks, and life jackets). Snorkeling guests are naturally welcome to participate in our trips along the coast and into the underwater cave of Mushroom Forest, ‘The Blue Room’. Off the coast of Curaçao you will find sunken old cars on up to freighters with many opportunities to award your logbook a special note.

GO WEST Diving diving can also organize your trip to Klein Curaçao where you can make 2 boat dives, enjoy a barbecue at the beach and relax in the sun of this small deserted island off Curaçao.

From world-class shore diving right from Playa Kalki to boat dives along the reefs of Westpunt, the west gives you the freedom to explore Curaçao above and below the surface.

A little over a year ago, something very small was placed in the water at Playa Kalki.

In July 2025, we joined forces with Reef Renewal Curaçao to hang the first staghorn coral fragments in our coral nursery.

Most were just 11 cm long, single branches small enough to wrap your hand around.

They looked tiny.

Last week, together with Reef Renewal, we measured those original fragments for the final time in their first year. And the results are incredible.

On average, each fragment has produced more than two metres of new coral growth.

And we’re not talking about one long piece of coral. Because staghorn coral grows by branching, that two metres represents the combined length of all the new branches growing from that original fragment.

Those tiny single branches we started with now have 30–50 branches each.

To monitor their growth, ten fragments from each of five different genotypes are tracked, as required by the coral restoration exemption Reef Renewal holds from the Curaçao government.

Across those 50 tracked fragments, we recorded more than 85 metres of new staghorn coral growth in just over a year.

Every fragment we grow has the potential to become a much larger piece of reef, providing structure and habitat for marine life and helping us restore what has been lost.

And this is only the beginning.💙
