OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
We want to provide a reassuring update to all participants of the event. The city has suffered damages and impacts related to the earthquake on August 10, which is quite sad and overwhelming. However, these impacts were concentrated in specific areas of the city that, for one reason or another, were affected more than other areas.
The venue for our Gasshuku did not suffer any major damages that would affect the safety of the space or the training sessions. Likewise, the hotel reported not having experienced any hazardous impacts for the guests.
From IOGKF Colombia, we are sending this brief report to reassure those who plan to visit us and train at this 2026 edition of our South American Gasshuku.

COMUNICADO OFICIAL:
Queremos dar un parte de tranquilidad a todos los participantes del evento. La ciudad ha sufrido daños y afectaciones relacionados con el sismo del 10 de agosto, lo cual es bastante triste y abrumador. Pero estas afectaciones se concentraron en algunas zonas especificas de la ciudad que por uno u otro motivo sufrieron más que otras zonas de la ciudad.
El sitio de realización de nuestro Gasshuku no tuvo afectaciones mayores que afecten la seguridad del espacio ni de los entrenos. Igualmente el hotel reportó no haber sufrido afectaciones de riesgo para los huéspedes.
Desde IOGKF Colombia enviamos este breve informe para tranquilidad de quienes planean visitarnos y entrenar en esta versión 2026 de nuestro Gasshuku Sudamericano.
