The Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open is a WTA Premier 5 event, one of the highest level events on the WTA World Tour, and is held annually each Autumn. Petra Kvitova (2014, 2016) and Venus Williams (2015) are its previous singles champion. The Wuhan Open is held in the central Chinese province of Wuhan, home to two-time Grand Slam champion Li Na. This year's tournament is scheduled October 19 - 25 2020.
