The drums of competition sound once again, and the battle for glory continues!
The 3rd Monthly Ranking Event of the 2026 Haibo Cup Lure Masters Tournament has successfully concluded at Dongqian Lake International Fishing Center in Ningbo. Following two highly competitive rounds, 40 elite anglers returned to the water to compete for valuable points and a coveted place in the season finale.
Unlike the scorching conditions of the previous events, this round was held under cool, overcast skies with light rain—providing ideal conditions for six hours of intense competition. From long-distance casts and precise lure presentations to decisive hooksets, every moment on the water showcased the skill, experience, and adaptability of the anglers.
After a hard-fought battle, the team of Li Yinghui and Zhu Peixuan claimed the championship with a total catch weight of 2.79 kg, demonstrating exceptional understanding of changing fish behavior in rainy conditions.
Haibo PRO anglers Wu Xiwei and Zheng Yi also delivered an impressive performance. By quickly identifying active suspended fish and adjusting their strategy accordingly, they secured second place with 2.75 kg—just 0.04 kg behind the champions. Their professionalism, tactical decision-making, and composure throughout the event highlighted the true spirit of competitive lure fishing.
Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding performances and dedication. Despite the challenging weather, every angler contributed to an exciting showcase of skill, sportsmanship, and passion for the sport.
