Hello everyone,
My name is Ding Yi, and I'm a Chinese gong Fu master. I can speak Chinese, Fluent English and a little bit of Hebrew (lots of Israeli students).
I started to practice gong Fu since I was 3 years old. You see, I’m coming from a small village in china, which is very cold in the winter time. When I was young I was always sick, so my father decided to teach me he's gong Fu secrets, so my body can survive the cold nights.
Like I was saying, I have practiced gong Fu since I was 3, and in many different styles and ways. For start I was studying from my father and my grandfather. Later, when my father's friends use to visit our house, they were also teaching me different styles. I’ve mastered in gong Fu, Sanda (Chinese boxing), Taiji and different Chinese meditation types.
I've started to teach students when I was in my 20's. First, I used to teach them at home and travel with them around Yunnan province. Later, I was also teaching in the Dali shaolin temple as a Buddhist gong Fu monk, but when my kids where born I had to come back to my village to take care of my family.
Recently I’ve found out that Whatsapp, Skype, Gmail and Facebook where blocked in china, and I’ve lost any way of contact with my old students.
I’m looking for people who wants to study gong Fu in privet, or in small groups. I have recently turned my house into a gong Fu retreat with lots of space and nature, for practicing gong Fu and experience the life in a Chinese old village. I’m also a Chinese medicine doctor, and can help you to heal or learn how to heal yourself. I’m teaching everything related to Chinese culture, so you can ask to learn whatever you want. Gong Fu, Taiji, Meditation, Swords and other martial arts instruments, Tea Culture, Taoism, Buddhism, Calligraphy, Philosophy and my wife can teach you how to cook Chinese food.
We are giving you a place to stay - our house. Shower and toilet of course. 3 meals a day. Morning class and evening class, and if you’ll need anything else we can take care of that too.
