Roonswear is a composition of (Came)Roon’s and Wear (Roonswear). The name has as intention not only to remind all consumers of the product that it is originating from Cameroon but also to incite them to want to know more about this beautiful country and the entire African continent. In other to feel attached to peoples, cultures and other attractions of foreign and faraway nations, the 21st century global citizens need concrete things that can awake their taste, curiosity and envie. Its testimonial is therefore: Roonswear feel your wear. The Idea of roonswear to exist when we realized that the purely African wear that exist do no more meet the taste of young Africans because of the influences the now have as global citizens so we decided to come out with T-shirt that could combine both cultural and modern features and it worked. We were also impressed by the fact that these T-shirts also met the taste of Europeans and other nationals that were living in Cameroon so we included them in our target group. Roonswear is very environemental friendly as it partly uses the waste of dressmakers to customize its t-shirts. In order to fight against unemployment Roonswear is privileging manual labour and each consumer of roonswear product must be certain that he is contributing to raising the living standard of the poor and thus contributing to facilitating the access to education and health of the families of the women who are working for the mark.
