Planet Pesca is landing in Chile. Soon we’ll begin sharing our experience in this magical country full of fishing spots we had only seen in our imagination. Stay tuned to our social media and website to discover some of the best places and the authentic people we’re meeting in this incredible land.

And yes, we’re already casting lines. In the rivers of the south, rainbow and brown trout are living experiences we’d only dreamed of. In crystal-clear lakes, trolling has surprised us with Chinook salmon that seem straight out of another world. We’ve also had encounters with the percatrucha, that unique species found in Chile—full of strength and mystery.

We’re trying it all: fly fishing in turquoise water streams, lure fishing in mirror-like lakes, and even hand-fishing in waters that hide true giants. Each technique is showing us a different face of this country, and every outing leaves us wanting more.

And it’s not just about fishing. In Chile we’re finding landscapes as varied as deserts, glaciers, and snow-capped volcanoes🌋, amazing people like the Mapuche communities, and delicious food from the northern valleys all the way to the polar region. Are you really going to miss it?

Que loco fue esto 🤯 A fin de temporada en la región de los lagos von el río turbio tuvimos la suerte con @ricardo.fishing.chile y yo @luchopescadorcl 🎣 de tener una buena jornada. Llegando al final del día decidimos arriesgarnos y llegar a una isla al medio del río (con todas las precauciones obvio 😅) y siento un pique brigido, pero no se enganchó. Lanzé nuevamente en el mismo lugar y me pica una truchita de unos 100 gramos con cuea y llegando a la orilla veo que me viene siguiendo un truchón 😱 y lo más loco es que me pica y la logró sacar jajaj 2x1 🎣 Ojalá pueda volver a repetir la azaña algún día ✨️ Use mi cañita Ul Shimano Exage 1.98 mts con un carrete Shimano Sedona 1.000 y línea kairikí 0.10 mm 🚀 @tec_pesca @shimanofishingchile Te ha pasado algo similar??
