EMMA’S FIRST INTERNATIONALπŸŒŽπŸ‡¨πŸ‡°

Congratulations to Emma Papali'i, who represented the Cook Islands in Shot Put at the World Athletics U20 Championships.

A few nerves early on but Emma held her composure to record 11.96m on her final attempt, placing 18th in the world.

Not the performance she was hoping for, but an invaluable first taste of international competition alongside the world's best young throwers.

And a great moment afterwards with the new World U20 Champion Jessica OJI from Nigeria! πŸ₯‡

Thanks to all the support crew particularly coach Siniva Setareki Shaka Sola Kaleb Sola and Solapower Throwing Academy

First international done, lessons learned and plenty more to come. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡°πŸ’ͺ
