Today at 5pm, about 400m up the Waterfall Road next the the Sheraton in Titikaveka - we start our X-Country Series 2022. Our main Mountain Bike Series for the Year.
So come up and give it a go.
We'll see you around 4:30pm for a course run through, and then the Ride will start at 5pm.

Tomorrow will be our first Ride of our X-Country Series 2022. This is our Mountain Bike series that'l run every Tuesday at 5pm until 20th of September.
So pump up your Tyres, fill your water bottle and wipe off your helmet and we'll see you up the Waterfall Road next to the Sheraton in Titkikaveka.

We are starting up our X-Country Series 2022, our main Mountain Bike cycling Series. This will run each Tuesday afternoon, from 12th July until 20th September. This is a lead up to our Cook Islands Games in October.
The first weeks Ride will be at 5pm on Tuesday 12 July, about 400m up the road next to the Sheraton, or the the road leading up to the Waterfall in Titikaveka.
Bring your bike, some water and a helmet and get amongst it!

Today is the KUMETE CYCLE RACE, starting and finishing at Ride Rarotonga in Nikao.
Registration from 2pm.
Race starts 3pm. Going clockwise around Rarotonga.

The conditions are GOOD for our XCountry Series to go ahead for todays Final Race to determine this year's 2021 MTB TANE & VAINE CHAMPIONS!
RACE START: 5:15pm
START LINE: Up the Papua waterfall road, about 300m from the main road, next to the Sheraton.
DISTANCE: Each lap is 2.5km; 1x lap for the young ones, 2x laps for Novelists, 3x laps for the Opens.
A brief ride beforehand will be allowed to show minor course updates.

Today, Tuesday 7th December, we were going to hold our XCountry Series Championship race to determine this year's 2021 MTB TANE & VAINE CHAMPIONS, but due to all this glorious rain, we have decided to postpone it to Thursday the 9th December.
We are always looking, and would be immensely grateful, for anyone not riding in the race, but would like to officiate, to come and help us run our race on Thursday.

Today, Tuesday 30th November, will be our last XCountry MTB practice, before next weeks Champs.
Race will start at 5.15 at the usual spot on the Papua waterfall road, about 300m in from the main road, right next to the Sheraton.
For new riders - there will be an "easy" ride over the course for familiarity, prior to race.
This practice will again be an individual one, with 3x laps for the experienced; 2x laps for the novelists; and 1x lap for the young ones. Each lap is 2.5km.
As mentioned this is the last chance for you to get familiar with the circuit before next weeks championships on 7th December, which will determine this year's 2021 MTB TANE & VAINE CHAMPIONS. However, it is also for those who want to participate with others for the fun of it.
If anyone doesn't want to ride but would like to officiate, we would welcome your assistance. You can contact Kevin on 50120 or Geoff on 74330.

Next Tuesday the 30 November is our last practice event, before the FINAL RACE for the Champion XCountry riders for 2021. The final race will be on Tuesday the 7th of December 2021.

The next few weeks, on Tuesday evenings, we will be running our Xcountry MTB series.
Races start at 5.15pm, about 400m up the Papua waterfall road from the main road, next to the Sheraton.
There will be an "easy" ride over the course for familiarity, prior to race, so you know the course.
We had our first race yesterday with an individuals race, adults did 2x laps and young ones 1x lap. Each lap is 2.5km. The following weeks, depending on numbers, will see a mixture of handicapped events; team events; etc, finishing with our Xcountry MTB event to determine our 2021 MTB TANE & VAINE CHAMPIONS on 7th December.
