In celebration of the Cook Islands Constitution Day, we will once again be hosting our annual Constitution Tournament, sponsored by Vodafone Cook Islands 🙌🏼

Aere mai, bring the family for a day of fun! We kick off at 9am, so come as early as 8:30am to secure a spot for you and the family in the TSA!

The ladies will kickstart us first in the morning, followed by the men in the evening. A little different this year, we will be doing round robin - more will be said tomorrow, so make sure to be there at 8:50am so you dont miss out on the announcements.

We are looking for referees, scorers and volunteers, so please Kaitini if you're interested in giving back to the community! 😉

OZVA UPDATE - RA 1/DAY 1

Today, our men kick off our OZVA campaign at 3:15pm (CKT) with their first match against our brothers from Australia🇦🇺. Our ladies then wrap up our first day of match at 10pm (CKT) against our sisters and host country, Guam!🇬🇺 we are excited, and we are ready to represent and compete for you Cook Islands!🇨🇰

Volleyball team depart for Guam, aims for Pacific Games qualification - Cook Islands News Cook Islands national volleyball team departed for Guam yesterday to compete in the Oceania Zonal Volleyball Championships hoping to qualify for the Pacific Games in Tahiti next year.

As the countdown continues, with only a couple of days remaining before our National Volleyball Team departs for Guam, preparations are in full swing. Our athletes and management are working hard to ensure everything is ready as they prepare to proudly represent the Cook Islands on the regional stage.

As we draw closer to departure, we are reminded of the encouraging words shared by our Papa Orometua, Teava Nanai, from Ephesians 6:11:

"Put on the full armor of God."

These words remind our team to step onto the court with faith, confidence, humility, honesty, respect, and the spirit of fair play. They will carry these values with them as they proudly represent our small nation and our people throughout the tournament.

On Sunday, 19th July, our National Team attended the Nikao CICC Church, where a special service was held to bless our athletes, management, and their playing uniforms before they embark on their journey to Guam. We are truly grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and blessings that have been bestowed upon our team.

We were also honoured on 18th July to be visited by Athletes' Commissioner, Alanna Smith, who generously presented the team with power adapters to use during their stay in Guam. This thoughtful gift is greatly appreciated, and we extend our sincere Meitaki Maata to Alanna and the Athletes' Commission team for their kindness and support.

On Sunday, 26th July at 2:45am, our National Volleyball Team will depart on Air New Zealand flight NZ943, beginning their journey to Guam. The team will first meet up with the rest of the Cook Islands athletes in New Zealand before continuing on to South Korea and then onward to Guam.

If you would like to come and farewell the team before they depart, we warmly invite you to join us at the airport. Your presence and support would mean so much to our athletes as they begin this exciting journey representing our beautiful nation.

Finally, to every sponsor, supporter, volunteer, family member, and friend who has stood behind this team from day one—Meitaki Maata. The Cook Islands Volleyball Federation is proud to officially announce the following athletes and management members, who will represent and compete for the Cook Islands, in the upcoming 2026 Oceania Zonal Volleyball Championship (OZVA) this coming August, in Guam! 🇬🇺

The Cook Islands delegation of 26 members includes, Cook Islanders residing in the Cook Islands, New Zealand, and Australia - a great mix of skill, experience and most of all, love, not only for the game but for our Country! The team will be lead by Team Manager, Tiramakea Marsters and Assistant Team Manager, Tatari Mitchell-Ngatoko, alongside them, heading the fierce drive of our teams will be Mens Head Coach, Eseta Semisi and Womens Head Coach Jackie Rongo.

📢PSA - Cook Islands National Volleyball Team's OZVA Runathon & Prime Food's Fundraiser (Prime Food's Okooko completed last week Saturday)📢

We will be having our runathon tomorrow morning starting from 8am at Super Brown Tupapa, ending roughly around 10:30am to 11am at Avatiu Harbour.

From Avatiu Harbour, the team will then move to Prime Foods to proceed with the next fundraiser, okooko manga! (Completed last week Saturday)

This is in aid to raise funds to assist our Men & Women's National Teams heading to Guam to compete in the Oceania Zonal Volleyball Competition.
