Last weekend, we wrapped up our 2026 season in style with our Prizegiving Pajama Party—a perfect way to celebrate, with this cool winter weather.

The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, karaoke, ice cream, and face painting as we celebrated our netball club.

As always, it truly takes a village to make an evening like this possible. To everyone who supported our club throughout the season—our volunteers & “voluntolds”, sponsors, families, friends, supporters, and community—thank you. Your generosity, encouragement, food contributions, prize donations, sponsorship funds and unwavering support is the very heart and soul of our netball club. .

First game of the Knockouts yesterday, and there’s something special about this round that brings a whole new level of excitement. A second chance to rise, redeem, and leave it all out on the court.

Sometimes things don’t always go the way we hope — and that’s okay. Those moments are where we grow, learn, and become better versions of ourselves. This week was the end of the road for four of our teams: our 6U Baby Stars, 10U, Prems, and Women’s Open 1.

Thank you for an incredible season everyone!! Regardless of the results, we are always so proud of our girls in maroon. We can’t wait to see you back on court next season. ❤️

Saturday marked the last game of the Rounds for the 2026 Netball Season. We were hosted by the Netball Club at the TSA.

It was an action-packed day of netball, with both sides bringing plenty of skill, determination, and competitive spirit across all grades. A huge thank you to our Puaikura netball sisters for looking after us throughout the day.

And now... Knockout Season is here! 🏐🔥

A special congratulations to our U8 and U14 girls, who finished 2nd in their respective grades during round play and have secured a place in the semi-finals next week.

This week, our U6, U10, U12, Open 1, and Premier teams begin their Knockout Round. From here on, every game counts — it's win or go home!!

Over the last 2 weeks we have had back to back home games in Muri. Last week we welcomed Avatiu Netball Club and the week before Tupapa Maraerenga Netball Club.

Both strong clubs that bring fierce competition and great netball games. Thank you to our town netball clubs for coming to the East-side.

We are travelling West to play our last game of the Rounds against Arorangi this weekend. As we approach the Knock-Out Round we’d like to wish all our sister netball clubs all the very best. Stay tuned!!

Another blessed day of netball on Saturday!! We had the occasional shower throughout the day, but nothing could stop our girls from stepping onto the court and giving it their all.

Congratulations to Takuvaine/Tutakimoa Netball Club on your newly resealed netball courts — we loved making the trip to Happy Valley, soaking in the stunning mountain scenery, and playing on your beautiful courts. It’s always a great time with our TKV sisters both on and off the court. Thank you for hosting us.

Oh dear… the paparazzi has been running a little behind! Here’s our recap from last week:

Last Saturday, we hosted Titikaveka Pearls Netball Club at our home courts in Muri.
🏐 The morning started with heavy rain, but by 11am the skies cleared and we were blessed with beautiful weather for the remainder of the day.
🏐 From our Juniors through to our Seniors, we were treated to some fantastic netball and great sportsmanship.
🏐 A huge thank you to our Takitumu sisters for joining us in Muri.

Tomorrow, we head over to the Happy Valley to visit our TKV sisters for Round 2, Game 8. Stay tuned for more updates as the action continues!
