Another blessed day of netball on Saturday!! We had the occasional shower throughout the day, but nothing could stop our girls from stepping onto the court and giving it their all.

Congratulations to Takuvaine/Tutakimoa Netball Club on your newly resealed netball courts — we loved making the trip to Happy Valley, soaking in the stunning mountain scenery, and playing on your beautiful courts. It’s always a great time with our TKV sisters both on and off the court. Thank you for hosting us.

Oh dear… the paparazzi has been running a little behind! Here’s our recap from last week:

Last Saturday, we hosted Titikaveka Pearls Netball Club at our home courts in Muri.
🏐 The morning started with heavy rain, but by 11am the skies cleared and we were blessed with beautiful weather for the remainder of the day.
🏐 From our Juniors through to our Seniors, we were treated to some fantastic netball and great sportsmanship.
🏐 A huge thank you to our Takitumu sisters for joining us in Muri.

Tomorrow, we head over to the Happy Valley to visit our TKV sisters for Round 2, Game 8. Stay tuned for more updates as the action continues!

It was East vs West on Saturday as we wrapped up Round 1. Meitaki Maata to our Puaikura sisters Arorangi Netball Club, for making the journey all the way to Muri.
We enjoyed a fantastic day of netball, with Arorangi showing their true Flames spirit—coming through strong and delivering great competitive games throughout the day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day and are excited to see what the next Round of netball will bring. Stay tuned for next week’s games!

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Arertere Park on Saturday - the sun was shining and the vibes were high! Avatiu Netball Club came out firing on their home turf, showcasing strength and skill across all grades. Despite the scores, we played with heart and proudly represented our village.
A huge thank you to Avatiu Netball Club for hosting us, meitaki maata for an epic day of netball at the Swamp!

We are back on home grounds this week for the last game of Round 1, welcoming our West-side sisters, the Arorangi Flames to Muri.

We keep training, we keep striving, and we keep playing the game we love.
