🤿As scuba divers on the Cook Islands the ocean provides for our passion, our livelihoods and is our second home.

🌊We were proud to support the great work of @korero_o_te_orau @marineresources_ck and @nescookislands this #worldoceansday with Taramea removal and a local reef clean-up dive.

🪸DYK Taramea are a coral eating, crown-of-thorns starfish which, if numbers are not controlled, can damage the coral reef, poison fish and impact fishing revenue.

🎥Watch our team find and safely remove the Taramea by injecting them with vinegar before measuring them and recording the data.

💙Thank you to all who worked hard to protect and restore our marine environment this world oceans day and every day.

Thanks to MMR for teaming up for World Oceans Day 2024.

A couple days ago we were looking for whales which sounded super close (ended up being less than 100 metres away) when one of our guests saw a huge 4.5 metre Hammerhead Shark cruising above us. You never know what we're going to see so book in today and let's go exploring together.

24/08/2023

This was taken about 2 minutes after our dive group descended. The whales seem to be getting more active and we're getting some incredible interactions. We cannot guarantee whales but book today and you'll increase your odds.

What would you rather see on your next dive with us? Whales or Turtles? Comment on your favourite video and let us know.

One of today's divers Denise getting up close to a turtle. We love showing people how to responsibly dive with big animals.

17/08/2023

We were lucky enough to see one huge Humpback Whale on our dive today!!! What an incredible experience and definitely Josh's favourite diving moment! Just remember to look where your dive guide is looking or you may miss the best things!
