🏆⛳ CONSTITUTION CUP 2026 – GOLF 🇨🇰
Last Saturday, we wrapped up an incredible two-day golf competition — the 2026 Constitution Cup, a prestigious tournament that has been running for more than 20 years.
This year, around 160 players came together representing their islands & 3 Vakas, from Penrhyn in the north down to Mangaia in the south. It was fantastic to see every island & 3 Vakas represented, with players proudly wearing their island colours and battling it out on the golf course. 🇨🇰
For many years, Rakahanga has been the dominant force, winning the Cup more than 10 times. As for this year, we saw tremendous improvement and strong competition from the outer islands, likes of Mauke, Pukapuka and Aitutaki.
After two days of great golf, the competition concluded on Saturday, followed by a fantastic prizegiving evening. And this year, the Constitution Cup trophy is heading to Aitutaki! 🏆🌴
Congratulations to Team Aitutaki and Manuae! All 20 players who travelled from Aitutaki represented their island with pride, determination and true team spirit.
To every player who represented their island — congratulations and well done! You all represented your respective vaka & island with pride. 👏🏽⛳
