Jason and Rachel, along with their whanau from Dunedin and Australia took to the greens yesterday for a round of bowls before D-Day today when they will tie the knot "for better or worse....". Thirty odd played, including the grannies, whether child or parents, to the delight of all. Even members of RBC helped out and was shouted with a beer - or 2. All in all, it was an enjoyable event for all. All the best on your wedding day Jason and Rachel and to the whanau. Now you have the colours of RBC, pop in for game. First thing though, marry that beautiful Rachel a d may you have heap of kids. ❤️

Kia Orana Members,
A Working Bee is called for this coming Saturday. This is to give our premises a good spring clean ready for our use as well as getting it ready for the events that will be coming our way in the next couple of months. Please bring your kikau brooms, rags and tools that you can think can assist in our cleaning task. Your assistance and participation would be much appreciated. This note is from your RBC Board. The winner and second for the singles for 2026 Trevor Arona and Anthony Piira. Congratulations to you both.

The singles champion for 2026 goes to Trevor Arona. The winners did not come easy with his opponent Anthony Piira who played exceptional shots in the latter part of the game. Down at 17-19 and Trevor holding the shot, Anthony managed to play a bowl that pushed Trevors' bowl out to claim the shot. A young player that has been in training with a development side jn the last 3 months or so. This showed in his performance and will be a player to be reckoned in future games. He will be representing the Cook Islands in Christchurch as part of the under 26 team.Congratulations to Trevor for winning and to Anthony for a worthwhile rival.

While the top green was used for the quarter finals, the third green was used also by members in their capacity as spectators. Awesome.
