From Frauenfeld to Wil, which means Hamlet in German or Villa in Latin. Located in canton St Gallen, its history dates back to the 1200s.

Wil is the 2nd largest Abbots Town, one of the best preserved medieval places in Eastern Switzerland with its timber framed houses, arcades, and views of the St Gallen peaks.

Another unexpected lovely discovery...I will have to return as my phone battery was dying whilst taking pics!! I hadn't planned to stay out all day!!

Post Graduation
Frauenfeld Open Air music festival being held for 3 days camping for youngsters, including our daughter.
I wasn't planning on taking her to the location, but ended up staying to explore this historic place.

Dating back to around 1246, Frauenfeld is a medieval town with its castle, towers, cathedral & churches. It was a lovely unexpected discovery today.

Rushing to the other side of Zürich for our daughter's graduation at BSB Bülach after 3 years of her apprenticeship.

Last stop at Palermo, Sicily's capital with its amazing architecture, historical sites and crazy buzz.

From the 4 corners (Quattro Canti), Palermo universities, spectacular cathedrals & churches, museums and streets filled with locals & tourists enjoying the vibe, it's so easy to get lost meandering... just like I did.

If only I hadn't eaten so much at lunchtime with my family 🇮🇹🤣 I would have gone out for dinner in this great city!! The ice-cream was all I could manage!!

I am making my way back to the place I call home in Zürich Switzerland 🇨🇭... thanks to everyone who took the time to meet & catch up with me in my Dad's home village. It was so lovely spending those moments with you all # # #

There's so many summer plants in full bloom like frangipani and calla lillies.
Visited Capo D'Orlando's ports, beachside locations and had combination cannoli with ice-cream in this crazy heat.
