Robots playing soccer?! The NomadZ are a team of bachelor and master students from different ETH Zurich departments making this a reality.
Established in 1997, the RoboCup promotes research in cooperative multi-robot and multi-agent systems through the game of soccer. University teams and their robots from all around the globe compete in various leagues. Since 2008 the Standard Platform League has been using Aldebaran's NAO robot. Hey NomadZ followers!
After winning all matches in the first group phase on Thursday and the play-in match against UPennalizers, we were able to move up into the Champions Cup. 🥳
There, we were grouped up with HTWK Leipzig and NaoTH and unfortunately lost to both teams, as well as to HULKS in the first play-off match. 😕
We are glad to have come this far and we are looking forward to improve more until next year! Thanks to all the teams for the exciting matches this year. 😊

Hi NomadZ supporters,
unfortunately we lost yesterday in the playoffs to the quarter finals with 3-0 to UT Austin Villa. Nonetheless we are very happy with our gameplay this tournament. We are aiming to improve further in the future and do even better next time!

Hi everyone,
on the second competition day, the second round of Round Robin was played. We again lost one game and won the other, most likely securing our second place in the group. This would mean the very first quarterfinals for our team. We are very excited!
