And that’s a wrap for Season 25/26!

A huge thank you to our members who joined our webinars, watched our instructional videos, gave us videos for feedback and joined us in person at our camps. You guys are the reason we do this and we love what we do - so thank you! We couldn’t do it without you. (Keep an eye out, our first camps for next year will be dropping soon).

There was more happening with coaching than we’d planned for, so we didn’t get to release as much content as we’d hoped this season. However, we’ve just finished a block of filming so we’ll have plenty to go ready for next winter.

But for now - some relaxing, some surfing, a whole bunch of video editing, southern hemi skiing (of course) and a good chunk of time to get the bodies in to the best shape possible for next winter

Moving from turn to turn quickly is one of the things that can make your skiing more dynamic.

On our webinar last week we took a look at Leo’s skiing and discussed how he could make his carved turns more dynamic.

To watch the full clip on how to release a turn quickly and move in to the next turn, head to the Webinar Replays section in SkiHQ University and watch the Feb 19 Webinar.

If you’re not a member you can join for free. Comment “University” below and we’ll send you the details.

Do you ever fall to the inside when carving?

We want to balance on the outside ski when carving. It’s more biomechanically efficient, the forces of skiing direct us there anyway and it’ll help us move from turn to turn.

If you’re tipping in too much, you might need some more angulation.

One of the best drills for angulation is “Swords”

Try the Swords drill next time you go carving. You’ll feel much more connected to your outside ski.

Save this for next time you go carving!

What’s your favourite drill to get on the outside ski?

just launched their new PLAY wild Performance Pole.

The graphics look sick, the upgraded cork handle is super comfy and the snap lock mechanism is really robust. We’ve been testing them for a season now and they’re really solid!

Head to the website to check them out!
