Canopy piloting pushes precision flying to the limit, combining speed, control, and accuracy under high-performance canopies.

Athletes approach the course at high speed, using technical input and timing to convert altitude and energy into distance, speed, or accuracy through the gates and water.

As one of the most dynamic disciplines in skydiving, swooping continues to evolve through progression, training, and international-level performance standards within competitive canopy piloting.

Accuracy skydiving is one of the oldest competitive disciplines in the sport and one of the most precise. 🎯

The goal? Land as close as possible to the center of a target just a few centimeters wide, using only your canopy skills, judgment, and control. Every jump tests an athlete's ability to read the wind, plan the perfect approach, and touch down with pinpoint accuracy.

The competition may take place in freefall, but the fun doesn't stop when the parachute opens.

No matter the discipline, many skydivers enjoy making the most of every canopy flight. It's another chance to fly, build skills, and enjoy being in the sky.

🪂 101 Skydivers. One Formation. One Historic Achievement.

In April 2023 at Skydive Perris, California, 101 skydivers came together to successfully complete a breathtaking formation skydive, setting a new benchmark in the sport. Every slot, every grip, and every second in freefall reflected the precision, discipline, and teamwork required to build a formation of this scale.

Large formation skydives are among the most demanding achievements in our sport, requiring months of preparation, flawless ex*****on, and complete trust between every participant.

Congratulations to all the skydivers, organizers, pilots, camera flyers, judges, and supporters who made this remarkable achievement possible.

🏆 German Skydiving Championships 2026

Germany’s top skydiving athletes will come together in Gera / Leumnitz for the 2026 German Skydiving Championships, competing for national titles across a wide range of disciplines.

The event will highlight the depth of competitive skydiving in Germany, with athletes taking on Formation Skydiving, Artistic Events, Wingsuit Flying, and Speed Skydiving challenges throughout the championship.

From teamwork and precision in formations to individual performance and technical ex*****on, the competition will showcase the diversity of skills that define modern skydiving.
