We are travelers, and paddlers. Xplore was founded in 2012 as specialized sea kayaking trip company in Italy , Cinque Terre and Liguria. The founder, Enrico, is a native genoese, our headquarter is in
Lugano, Switzerland and we have a base in Genoa, Italy. The playground is in Italy, Switzerland, the Adriatic and the Mediterranean seas. We are fully committed to wilderness ethics and quality trips. Our team members are passionate guides and kayakers with years of experience and international certifications. They all are enthusiastic to share their historical and cultural knowledge of the area where they were born and live. The trips provide benefits to the local communities, we prefer and support the organic and 'close to zero km' food as well as the lowest impact way to move people. Leave no trace is our philosophy. We like learning and sharing and connecting people in small groups for maximizing the travelling experiences and the growth for everybody. Genoa is once again a magnet for travelers.

A medieval rival to Venice and a financial capital of early modern Europe, this northwest Italian harbor city was a must-stop for 18th-century aristocrats on continental Europe’s Grand Tour.

Now, as it emerges from a postindustrial decline, Genoa is again attracting tourists and with good reason: The city is full of surprises, with an eccentric charm that inspires exploration.

With its weird medieval alleyways, hilly setting and a transit system that might seem at home in an amusement park (think horizontal elevators and funiculars that tunnel through buildings), Genoa is Italy’s most exotic major city.

But still awaiting a connection to the country’s main high-speed train corridor, it can feel like terra incognita, even to Italians.
