Australian XC Ski Team

Due to unfortunate lack of snow in Perisher we unfortunately had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Perisher Australian national Opens.

However, instead the Australian National team athletes hosted the first Jindabyne Ausxc Roller ski Time-trial fundraiser event for all the athletes whom made their way from all over the country to be here for the events.

The event turned out a huge success, with athletes from juniors all the way to our national team joining together to make a good thing out of such an unfortunate season.

Our overall Continental cup winners are:

While there may not be any more high level Skiing events left for this season for AUSXC. There is still lots of training year left for our athletes to reach their peak shape leading into the Overseas winter. Let’s go Aussies!!!

Just in case you havent see it already the Kangaroo Hoppet was a huge success!!! 🦘 🇦🇺

With all 3 races being cut to a slightly shorter distance it meant we could host most races within the inner trails at Falls Creek. Australian athletes absolutely dominated the event against some strong international competition 💪

2026 Australian Rollerski Championships were a great success 🥳 🍾

Brought to you at the brand new criterium at the Jindabyne Sports and Rec, this 1.2km loop is the first high performance roller ski oriented track ever made in Australia.

And on it brought some fantastic high speed racing for anybody brave enough to take it on from ages under 12 +!
