How it started vs. how it’s going 💪🏒🥅

Twelve years after competing in Hockey East and ending up on either side of a national championship fight, Jack Eichel (Boston University Men’s Ice Hockey) and Mark Jankowski (Providence College M. Hockey) are continuing their rivalry in pursuit of the Stanley Cup.

Eichel is joined in Vegas by Boston College Men’s Hockey’s Noah Hanifin, Maine Men’s Ice Hockey’s Ben Hutton, Head Coach John Tortorella (Maine, 1978–81), Assistant Coach Dominique Ducharme (UVM Men's Hockey, 1991–95), and European Scout Peter Ahola (Boston University, 1989–91).

On the Carolina side, Director of Player Development Peter Harrold played at Boston College from 2002–06.

Always great to see so many Hockey East alumni on the biggest stage. Wishing them all the best in Game 5 tonight!

Congrats to Lulu Rourke for being honored with this year’s Sarah Devens Award!

Presented annually to a player who demonstrates leadership and commitment both on and off the ice, the Devens Award is given as a joint honor between ECAC Hockey and Hockey East and aids a deserving student-athlete with a post-graduate scholarship of $15,000. The award is named in honor of former Dartmouth Big Green ice hockey player, Sarah Devens, who died in 1995 prior to her senior year.

“I am truly honored to be recognized as the recipient of this year’s Sarah Devens Award. I am inspired by the life that Sarah Devens led and all of her accomplishments as a multi-sport student-athlete, and I am deeply grateful to be recognized in connection with her legacy,” said Rourke.
