They said he couldn’t become a pilot.
Now he’s teaching others to fly. 🚁
Luzi Knöll Luzi Knöll’s path to aviation didn’t start in a cockpit. It started in physiotherapy.
After five years as a physiotherapist, he decided to finally pursue the dream he had carried with him since childhood: becoming a helicopter pilot.
A chance opportunity brought him to Loft Dynamics — and from there, one step led to the next.
Today, Luzi is a:
🚁 Helicopter Pilot
🎓 Flight Instructor
🕹️ Training Specialist at Loft Dynamics
And the student who was once told he wasn’t smart enough to become a pilot is now teaching others how to fly.
“If you have a dream, follow it. If everyone says it’s stupid, just try it.”
Congratulations, Luzi. We have a feeling this is only the beginning. 🤍

Our most loyal colleagues deserve their own post today. 🐾
Meet Lola, Scotty, Pixel, Fibi and Ivy — part-time office dogs, full-time mood boosters. 🐶
Whether they’re supervising meetings, checking the snack situation or making sure nobody works through their lunch break, they make our days at Loft Dynamics a little better.
Happy International Dog Day to the Loft Pack — and to all the four-legged colleagues out there. 🤍

That’s a wrap from Bückeburg. 🚁
A few great days at the 34th International Helicopter Forum, surrounded by the people shaping the future of vertical flight.
From inspiring conversations to new connections, one thing was clear: safer, more accessible and more mission-ready helicopter training matters.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas and connected with our team. We’re leaving Bückeburg with fresh inspiration and lots of energy for what’s next.
Next stop: APSCON in Orlando. See you there! 🇺🇸

What does the next step to flying an Airbus H125 look like?
Aviation International News Editor-in-Chief Matt Thurber recently visited the L.A Police Dep. | Air Support Div. to train on its Loft Dynamics H125 VR simulator as he prepares to fly the aircraft.
From hospital approaches and slope landings to full-touchdown autorotations, Matt experienced how immersive simulation gives pilots the opportunity to practice demanding maneuvers in a realistic training environment.
Thanks to Matt, Kevin Gallagher and the LAPD Air Support Division for sharing the experience.

We're honored to be featured in Rotor Pro 01/2026 coverage 🇨🇱
Rotor Pro highlighted the arrival of the Loft Dynamics VR simulator in Chile and the growing role of immersive simulation in modern pilot training.
The article showcases how pilots can safely train critical procedures, emergency scenarios, and challenging mission profiles in a highly realistic environment using our Airbus H125 VR Simulator.
The feedback we received during FIDAE speaks for itself:
"10/10 would recommend!! From New York City at sunset to the Swiss Alps, pilots can train for complex missions without the risks associated with real-world operations. 🚁 "
We're grateful to everyone who visited us at FIDAE and experienced the future of helicopter training firsthand.
