🥋 5th Dan Kyokushin – A Special Milestone

Honored to receive my official 5th Dan Kyokushin Karate Certificate, following my Dan examination in Sibiu, Romania, in October 2025.

The certificate was officially presented by Shihan Adrian Horatiu (8th Dan) during the Shihan Peter von Rotz Memorial Ceremony in Bern, Switzerland, in June 2026.

A meaningful milestone in my Kyokushin journey and a special moment dedicated to the memory and legacy of my teacher, Shihan Peter von Rotz.

In 2022, I had the pleasure of visiting El Paso, Texas, to spend time with my cousin, Sensei Ali Madani.
This picture brings back wonderful memories of that special visit and the time we shared together.
Ali is a true Pahlavan . In Persian culture, a Pahlavan is much more than a physically strong person or a champion.
The word describes someone who combines strength with courage, honor, humility, generosity, and respect for others.
A true Pahlavan uses his strength to help and protect people and is admired as much for his character as for his abilities.
For me, Ali represents this tradition.
Visiting him and his father, my master, Shihan Saeed Madani (8 Dan) in El Paso was not only a family reunion but also a memorable time spent with someone I deeply respect.
Looking at this picture takes me back to El Paso in 2022 and reminds me of family, friendship, and the true spirit of a Pahlavan.
