A bit different being on the other side of the glass this weekend for Jess where she was involved in umpiring the Junior Mixed Doubles Nationals!
Congratulations to Ellie and Jed on taking the title and to everyone else who competed and put on a great show of curling.
It was fantastic to see the spirit of curling in action in our young players over the weekend! The future of curling in NZ is looking bright 🤩

Ben and Mum competed in a points match for Kiwi Curling Club today and Ben claimed the top in our club! At the end of the day Jess was convinced to give it crack.

2026 New Zealand Mixed Doubles Champions!
An incredible best of 3 final between us and Ruby & Hunter. You guys played amazing and really kept us fighting for every inch.
We had an amazing weekend competing thanks to the staff at Maniototo Adventure Park, Reece the ice maker, Darren our umpire and New Zealand Curling. Your dedication to our sport is what makes this all possible for all of us!
A round of applause to our coaching staff Kim Tuck and Jordan Michels for your support and continued belief in us. Thank you Kim for negotiating a 16 hour time difference to give us your support this weekend! And to Jordan for being the bridge between Ontario and Naseby!

Big day at the office today. We have gone through the round robin undefeated so we have qualified straight to the best of 3 final starting tomorrow morning at 9am. We will find out who we play after tonights semi final. Lets go! 👊🏻
