This is my daily morning routine. No matter where I am. No matter the schedule.
Here I moving to wake up at 5.30 am during my Japan holiday, on a quiet terrace in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, grateful for the unusual space and privacy around me.
My morning warm‑up is a blend, not a fixed sequence: I start low on the mat to activate the core, then move through all joints, focus on shoulder rehab, add dynamic stretching, yoga, and finish with Qigong to really get the energy flowing.
This practice:
➡️ lubricates joints & fascia
➡️ builds mobility and flexibility
➡️ prepares the body for the day
➡️ clears the mind and sharpens focus
It’s how I prepare to meet the day with clarity, resilience and presence – no matter where I am or when I must get up. Just 20-35 minutes is all it takes.
And from there, everything else becomes easier.

🐉 Dragon of the Water Element | Qigong on Tenerife Island 🌊
Practicing Qigong on black volcanic sand, with the wild Atlantic crashing behind us, reminded me how deeply the Water Element lives in movement.
My friend Tamara of and I met years ago during a training. This time, I visited her on Tenerife Island, where we flowed together through the form of the Dragon—powerful, spiraling, and deeply grounding.
In Chinese Medicine, the Water Element is linked to the Kidneys, to fear, and to our deep reserves of energy and willpower.
The Dragon form mobilizes the spine and hips, stimulates the kidney meridian, and helps us reconnect to our center when life feels turbulent.
