🇦🇫🚴♀️ Afghan Women’s National Championships
The story continued on the roads of La Tour-du-Pin, where three Afghan women lined up once more, this time for the road race, under a demanding summer heat that tested every rider out on the course.
On the podium, the same three athletes who had shone in the time trial:
🥇 Fariba Hashimi
🥈 Zahra Rezayee
🥉 Samira Ehrari
In tough conditions, they showed the grit that defines this group: every kilometre ridden for their country, and for the countless Afghan girls who dream of one day doing the same. Beyond the result, this race is a statement, of resilience, of opportunity, and of the future of Afghan women’s cycling 💪
Congratulations to all three. Your courage rides far beyond the finish line. 👏
