THANK YOU, JOHN. 🖤🤍
It is with regret that we announce that John Falk will no longer serve as Defensive Coordinator of the Langenthal Invaders next season.
We would have loved to continue working with John in this role. However, a new coaching challenge lies ahead of him – an opportunity that we fully understand he has to take. We wish him nothing but the very best and every success in this next chapter of his coaching journey.
And one thing is important: This is not goodbye forever.
John will remain connected to the Invaders and will continue to support us as an Athletic Coach and Guest Coach in the future.
John joined the Invaders in 2024 and, over three seasons, became one of the most important members of our coaching staff. Anyone who knows the distance he travelled for almost every practice understands just how exceptional his commitment and dedication to this team have been.
His coaching style is unique. His energy, his direct approach, his football IQ and the high standards he demanded from his players have left a lasting impact on our defense. John was exactly the coach we needed during this chapter of our journey.
And the numbers speak for themselves – especially in his final season as Defensive Coordinator in 2026. During the regular season, the Invaders defense allowed just 88 points in 10 games – only 8.8 points per game. In the playoffs, the defense took it to another level, allowing 0 points in the semifinal and just 7 points in the championship game. Across the entire championship season, the defense gave up only 95 points in 12 games – an average of just 7.9 points per game. In the two biggest games of the year, his defense allowed a total of only 7 points. The season ended with a perfect 12–0 record and the NLB Championship. 🏆
John, thank you for your commitment, your passion, the countless hours and kilometres, and everything you gave to this team over the past three years.
Once an Invader, always an Invader. 🖤🤍
