Dancers ages 5 – 6 can explore new dance styles alongside their annual classes, enhancing their dance technique, strength, and flexibility before being introduced to BDA’s full class repertoire with Bella Dance Academy's Blossom 9-Week Sessions.

These sessions are also a great opportunity for children who are brand new to dance to try classes for the very first time in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Dancers can explore different styles, build confidence, and discover a love for movement before committing to a full-year program.

✨🤩Style Spotlight - Adult Classes

Bella Dance Academy's Adult Classes are designed for all levels, abilities, and body types.

In Adult Tap, dancers focused on musicality and footwork, creating beats and patterns on the floor using precise steps, exploring timing, syncopation, and flow.​

In Adult Modern, dancers focus on contraction, release, fall, and suspension while learning improvisational techniques, proper posture, increased coordination, flexibility, and strength.

Adult Ballet, is known for its grace, precision, and expressive movements, where dancers will combine strength, flexibility, and technique.

In Burlesque, dancers will explore movement, musicality, and performance through fun burlesque choreography and foundational burlesque techniques, with options provided for everyone.

We had 4 dancers attend the LEAD National Summit in Toronto at the beginning of August, accompanied by Miss Hannah!

LEAD is a national program run by Canada's National Ballet School that uses dance as a foundation to explore and invest in each participant's unique leadership potential. Through active workshops, dance classes, facilitated discussions, and peer networking, LEAD empowers youth to connect their dance practice to questions of equity, belonging, and social justice, supporting them as they take on leadership roles now and into the future.
