Canada Winter Games 2035
The NWT has a chance to host the Canada Winter Games in 2035. The GNWT has posted a survey, with a deadline June 25, and a feasibility report on the potential to host the Games in the NWT.
Hay River and Yellowknife are options for xc skiing or biathlon. Significant improvements would be required for facilities, trails and biathlon range for both sites.
If you have a few minutes to take the survey, your feedback will help inform on whether or not the GNWT Proceeds!

The 2026 Ski Club AGM was held on June 11th and what a great way to celebrate an amazing ski season. We can never thank our volunteers enough but we were able to highlight some of our outstanding volunteers with our honorary ski awards, as well as send off some fantastic board members.
Thank you to everyone who attended and we are always thankful for our ski club community!
