The new Can Am HD11 Defender is pretty dandy, but I found the clutching was pretty poor out of the box - the 2200 RPM engagement creates a lot of lag when starting off in both forward and reverse.

The RVS Performance / QSC Clutching -QuadShop Customs clutch kit has a ton of adjustment, from all out performance, larger tires, or reduction of the lag.

With the trail weighting for factory 30's, I lowered the engagement to around 1650 RPM to pretty well eliminate all of the throttle lag, and better throttle response throughout the range.

I'm taking a break myself and heading west for the week for some throttle time instead of wrench time. After that it'll be late March before I'm back in action.

Some Friday Maintenance !

This Summit X dropped back for a pre season check and a pDrive maintenance to keep everything rolling when it hits the snow again !

I was always more partial to the red thrust washer on the pDrive - made it easier to see how dirty the rollers were getting.

Hope you're out of the rain this Friday, and it all turns off to snow !

The skipper needs maintenance too !

This new-to-fadder Renegade XRS got some love before the rain - a PreSeason maintenance and of course some Hi-Torque rollers (One was cracked when we pulled them !)

A clean of the clutch bay goes a long way to keep them happy.

This '25 Freeride has a whole new cockpit, featuring:

- CFR 2.5" Gen2 Riser
- CFR Misfit Bars, 0.5" rise
- CFR Grips
- CFR E-Stop/Shot Relocate
- Munster Finger Throttle & Guard

This is a much lower setup than factory to allow you to align the riser with the steering post, and get your weight further forward on the sled, giving better control and response when in the tangly stuff.
