Congratulations to Brooke Peloquin on being selected to attend Swimming Canada's NextGen Breaststroke Camp from Oct 16-25, 2026, in Palma de Mallorca!

Congratulations to this group of swimmers who won the High Point Award for the 2026 Summer Swim season!

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Our highlight on this Thursday is Rhiannon Leier-Blacher!

She competed for Canada at both the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics!

In Canada, she won 13 Canadian titles and set four national senior records in the 50m and 100m breaststroke and the 4x50m medley relay!

She was inducted in the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.

With the close of the 2026 Summer Swim Season, SNM wanted to congratulate the Winkler Barracudas on winning the Medium Club High Point Award as well as the Beausejour Otters on winning the Small Club High Point Award.

The 2026 Summer Swim season is now in the books. Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated!

A big thank you to all the clubs that hosted and to all the volunteers and officials!

Time has flown this summer and we are already at our final meet of the Summer Swim season!

The championship meet will be held 9:00 am, this Sunday August 16th at the Winkler Aquatic Centre.

On this Thursday we highlight the accomplishments of Joanne (Mucz) Vergara.

From 1988 to 1992, she competed in 2 Paralympic Games. At the '92 Games in Barcelona, she won an incredible 5 gold medals!

She was inducted in the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2006!
