Become apart of the dance academy where your child won't be lost in a crown and where they can openly express themselves. Royal Dance Conservatory prides itself on having three different divisions where students can grow and excel while focusing on their individual needs as dancers. The Recreational Division gives students the opportunity to grow, flourish, and learn proper technique, all with the main focus being having fun in a positive and encouraging environment. Our Performance Division provides dancers who are excelling in their recreational dance classes more time in the studio. It allows serious students the opportunity to develop their talent, performance skills, and deepen their passion for dance. Finally, the Competitive Division is for the most determined dancer. Training is more extensive ensuring progress, while encouraging fluidity of movement and strengthening the dancers overall abilities. Students are more challenged and focused on their technique and performance readying them to participate in various dance competitions throughout the season.

Throughout that time there has only been two changes in ownership. The studio passes from owner to long time instructor to maintain a constant focus that emphasizes the ongoing relationship between staff and students as a family. Nicole Gornik is the newest owner at the dance studio of Royal Dance Conservatory. Nicole began dancing at RDC at the age of 5 and has developed from student to instructor to director. A successful dance studio needs not only talent but effective management and administration. Nicole has known from an early age that she wanted and needed to put her imprint upon this studio. Owning, operating, and directing two dance studios requires a degree of business administration. Before moving to manager Nicole attended RRC in Business Administration. She graduated with Honours in the course and then took over RDC. Nicole not only manages RDC she is involved in every aspect of the curriculum and teaching. She has been trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Most recently she has completed all ten levels of the Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification in Toronto. She is fully certified after completing her exams in Modules 1 and 2. Nicole as a student has travelled across North America performing and competing. She has placed second for her Pointe Solo in Dance World Cup (Montreal), performed in Disney World for Dance the World, and won highest point for her Ballet Solo at Ovation Dance Challenge (Fargo). Most recently she and her competitive team were placed as a Top Studio Finalist in Toronto at the Kick It Up Dance Competition. Nicole looks forward on bringing new life to the RDC dance studios. ✨ Welcome to Destination Dance! ✨

Our preschool program is designed to nurture your child’s love of dance, movement, and creativity from the very first class.

Through exciting themed adventures, our little dancers can explore the world without ever leaving the studio! Whether we’re traveling under the sea, soaring through outer space, or stepping into a magical kingdom, every class is filled with imagination, music, movement, and fun.

We believe that children learn through play, which is why we’ve combined the structure of a classical dance class with engaging games, singing, storytelling, and plenty of face-to-face interaction. Every activity is thoughtfully designed to introduce the fundamentals of dance technique in a way that is fun, developmentally appropriate, and exciting for young learners.

Our instructors and class assistants aren’t afraid to sing, play, imagine, and become part of your child’s world. By meeting dancers where they are, we’re able to create meaningful connections that build confidence, encourage participation, and foster a lifelong love of dance.

Most importantly, every child receives the individual attention they need to learn, grow, and shine at their own pace. 💛✨

Celebration Week is underway, and our dancers are truly shining brighter than ever ✨

We’re welcoming June here at Spark by enriching our spaces with guest teachers, choreography workshops, and new creative opportunities for our dancers.

This week, they’re not only giving it their all as performers, but also exploring the creative side of dance, learning from others, and discovering new ways to express themselves authentically.

Happy Tuesday Turnout! ✨

It’s our last Tuesday Turnout of the season, and what an amazing year it has been!

Thank you to all of our Spark families, our incredible staff, and most of all, our amazing dancers. Watching your growth this year has been so special, and your passion, joy, and love for dance continue to inspire us every single day.
