The Scented Stealth Craw in 309 colour from X Zone Lures has got to be my favourite finesse bait for bass. You can rig it up a bunch of different ways but mine would probably be on a Ned Rig!

For those kayak anglers out there, which method of transportation do you prefer more? On the truck or on a trailer? I know it kinda depends on size and weight of the kayak but I just want to know everyone’s opinions. I’m definitely thinking about getting a trailer for next year because the Wilderness Systems Tactical Pro 128 is a beast!

Here’s a little laugh for a Monday!

Stop #3 of the CCKT at Island Lake was a rough one for me! This was the only bass that I was able to measure, I caught a few that were too small to measure and over 20 pike. I covered a lot of water and just couldn’t find any bass. Guess it’s on to the next one at Falcon Lake. Thanks to Kickerfish for putting on a great event and to everyone that helped out! I was thankful that I had my FXR PRO FISH rain gear to keep me dry all day!

It was a big momma! At 18.5” this is what I need tomorrow during the tournament, 5 like that would be a great bag and probably what I would need to win. There’s a lot of great anglers competing at the CCKT on Island Lake.
