Windsor hosts Ontario's premier and longest standing criterium. An annual event held on the Sunday of the Labour Weekend! Sunday, September 2nd, 2018
The Tour di via Italia is also known as The Erie Street Bicycle Race. This professional sporting event has become an important tradition in the Italian community and in the City of Windsor. We, as part of the community, are very much indebted to those who originally gave of their time and effort to pursue the dream that they had to see the race held in their own city of Windsor.

This Sunday , May 31st. TDVI does it's thing at a very different date for 2026. One of our fun things for the day is our kids race. This will take place at 2pm for the little ones up to pre teens. Ranging from up Erie St to a lap or two of the full race course.
To register your child , go to registration , fill out a waiver and we will stage the kids by the church at 1 50pm.
We have sanctioned Youth races after that . So if you think your child may want to take their bike racing to the next level , we suggest you watch these talented young racers. Everyone starts at the beginning and you figure out where your talent level is from there. Bike racing teaches dispcipline that is hard to acquire anywhere else.
Racing will start at 10am and go until 7pm. Weather forecast looks absolutely perfect for racers and spectators.
We celebrate the conclusion of the Giro d'Italia on Sunday with a little piece of Italy ourselves.
