🏀 WLBA 3 vs 3 – Playoff Wrap Up!

That’s a wrap on another summer of WLBA 3 vs 3!

Congratulations to our 2026 playoff champions:

🏆 Junior Champions – Bulldogs
🏆 Senior Champions – Bulls

The Junior final was a true team win for the Bulldogs. All five players hit the scoresheet within the first few minutes, and that pretty much set the tone. Great ball movement, unselfish basketball and contributions from everyone made the difference. Co-Playoff MVPs Caleb G. and Keerat K. led a really balanced Bulldogs attack on their way to the championship.

The Senior final was a back-and-forth battle between the Bulls and Warriors. The Bulls moved the ball well, got everyone involved early and eventually found a way to pull it out. Playoff MVP Sam S. did all the little things that make basketball easier for everyone around him — hustling on both ends, finding advantages, creating opportunities and getting on the glass.

A great way to finish the summer.

Thanks to all of our players and families who came out week after week. Lots of basketball, lots of improvement and most importantly, lots of fun.

WLBA Lake city Broncos ID camp registration now open!

🏀 FALL BRONCOS REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 🏀

We’re getting ready for another season of Lake City Broncos Basketball, and registration for our Fall Tryouts / ID Camps is officially OPEN!

This fall we’re planning opportunities for:

🏀 U13 Boys & Girls
🏀 U15 Boys
🏀 U17 Boys & Girls

Players selected to a Broncos team can expect two practices per week, skill and team development, and at least two tournament opportunities throughout the fall.

We’re planning another great season with opportunities to travel, compete against teams from around BC, and most importantly keep developing our local athletes here in Williams Lake and the Cariboo.

Whether you’ve played Broncos basketball before or are looking to give travel basketball a try for the first time, we’d love to see you in the gym!

🏀 WLBA 3 vs 3 PLAYOFFS – Wednesday, August 12! 🏀

The regular season is in the books and now it’s time to settle it on the court!

Both Junior and Senior playoffs happen Wednesday, with every team still having a shot at the championship.

The Tar Heels and Heat earned the #1 seeds, but Wednesday is a new night. Win and keep playing. Lose and you’re done.

Should be a fun way to finish off another summer of WLBA 3 vs 3.

WLBA 3 vs 3 League Standings Update

Another fun week of 3 vs 3 is behind us! Check out the updated standings and see where your team sits as we head into the second half of the season.

Player of the Week: Abigail W. – Tar Heels

Abigail has been putting in the work all season, and it really shows. She's made huge strides over the last few weeks and has become a big part of the Tar Heels' success on both offense and defense. Keep it up, Abigail!

Reminder: There are no league games on Monday, August 3, as we take a break for the BC Day long weekend.

Enjoy the holiday, and we'll see everyone back on the court the following week!

Every August there's one week we always look forward to.

The TRU WolfPack Summer Camp is coming back to Williams Lake, and we're really happy we get to help bring it back to our community again this year.

One of the coolest parts about this camp is that our athletes get the chance to learn from university coaches and players without having to leave town. Whether you're just starting out or already playing school or travel basketball, there's something to take away from four days in the gym with the WolfPack.

WLBA 3 vs 3 June 27 Update

Another game day is in the books, with the Tar Heels and Heat still holding the top spots in their leagues.

This week’s player shoutouts:

Kaycee C. of the Wildcats who led her team in scoring in a very tight game against the Tar Heels and Karsyn A. of the Huskies who
put together her best two games of the season scoring double digit points and played great defense in both games! Great work girls!

Great work from both players. The improvement across the league has been awesome to watch each week.

Join us in wishing the BC Summer Games Zone 8 Boys Basketball Team the very best of luck as they travel to Kelowna this week!

This group has earned the opportunity to represent the Cariboo–Prince George region after months of hard work and countless hours in the gym. Now they get to test themselves against the best young talent from across British Columbia.

We're especially proud to see our WLBA Lake City Broncos represented by Tim, Kohen, Reid, Graham, and Maks, alongside a fantastic group of athletes from Northern Bounce PG, Guy, Myles, Tyler, Jacob, Noah, and Damien.

These athletes are a great reflection of the basketball community we're continuing to build in Northern BC through the Williams Lake Basketball Association, Northern Bounce PG, and the South Cariboo Basketball Association.

The team will be led by Coach Travis Nystoruk and we know they'll represent the North with pride both on and off the court.

Enjoy every moment. Compete hard. Support one another. Make memories you'll never forget.

WLBA 3 vs 3 League – Week 2 Update

Week 2 is officially in the books!

Another great night of basketballl! The standings are beginning to take shape, but with lots of basketball still ahead.

Check out this week's updated Junior and Senior League standings below.

There won't be scheduled League games this Wednesday June 22nd. Instead, we're opening the gym for a Junior League Drop-In Session free of charge for WLBA league members.
Any Junior League player is welcome to come out, get some extra reps in, play some pickup games, and enjoy a little more court time before the next round of league play!
