Aging.
While I was enjoying a Yin practice on the floor of my office, I noticed the flowers on my desk. Aging in a vase. I once was the vibrant pink one on the left, now the crinkly brown one. Aging is a natural part of our manifested world Each flower exhibits its own beauty and essence.
Yoga has taught me that grasping and attachment leads to suffering and spiritual stagnation. So I have let go of the grasping of youth (still taking care of myself) but learning to accept and love the grey, the crepey, the dangling, the wrinkles, the arthritis with ahimsa ( non-harming). Thank goodness for yoga. It has gotten me through so much over the past 30 yrs.
