Another sad day for the Hurricanes. Waterpolo balls off to Estevan where they will be put to good use.
These items don't store well and have a limited life so it's better another club uses them rather than go to waste.
Thank you to the MANY sponsor who have helped with equipment over the years, especially .

This historic photo captures the first international women’s water polo match, played on 22 April 1922 during the Women’s Olympiad in Monte Carlo. The game was held right inside Port Hercules, where a section of the harbour was cordoned off and fitted with floating wooden goals. You can see the ships and the steep hillside of Monaco in the background, while the players—wearing early 1920s bathing caps—battle for the ball in open seawater. That day, the Netherlands defeated Great Britain 6–0, proving women could compete at the highest level and marking a milestone in the sport’s history. This image is one of the rare surviving action shots of that pioneering event, where cold Mediterranean waters and curious spectators set the stage for a breakthrough in women’s international sport.
